This blog is dedicated to the bicycle and the adventures we find while riding, pushing, working on, talking about, and thinking about those two wheels. It is authored by Marley Blonsky, who lives and works in Seattle, WA.
Marley has been riding bikes her entire life, but things got serious a few years ago when she moved back to Capitol Hill from West Seattle. Owning a car was not practical and traveling by bicycle was the most logical, quickest, and economical choice.
After a brief affair on an aluminum road bike, Marley quickly discovered the joy of steel and was quickly converted to wide tires, dynamo lighting systems, and the practicality of a 650b touring set-up. She now spends most of her free time in the woods bike camping, exploring low traffic back roads, and spreading the gospel of slow travel by bicycle. By day she works as a sustainability manager for a logistics company.
Marley is also a fat activist and body positive bike rider. She doesn't ride bikes to lose weight, believes in the healing power of ice cream (despite being slightly lactose intolerant), and will gladly stop mid-ride for snacks. Marley loves helping people find a bike that works for their needs and would love to hear your success stories or field any questions!
