Congratulations on getting into Unbound Gravel! My name is Marley Blonsky and I’m excited to invite you to join me for Wheels of Welcome, a brand new program designed to help folks prepare for the 25 and 50 mile distances.

Before we get into the details of the program, I’d love to introduce myself and explain why you should trust me to help get you to the finish line. I'm the Co-Founder of All Bodies on Bikes, a 3 time Unbound finisher, and a professional cyclist for Cannondale, Shimano, Ride with GPS and more! I’ve been riding gravel for nearly 8 years, with successful finishes at MidSouth Gravel, Unbound Gravel, SBT GRVL and many more. While I’ve never podiumed, I have come in last place many times, which I think is a testament to endurance and preparation.

As the gravel event season approaches, I often hear from folks who are either new to the sport, or dipping their toe in organized events for the first time, with many of the same questions:

  • How do I prepare?

  • What do I need to carry during the event?

  • Can I actually do this?

And that’s where Wheels of Welcome comes in.

The Program

Participation in Wheels of Welcome is optional for all 25 and 50 mile distance participants. The program will consist of:

  • 2 online webinars covering a wide variety of topics including what to expect, training, hydration & nutrition, navigation on the course, goal setting, and more

  • An online community to ask questions, share resources, and meet other program participants

  • A shakeout ride and Happy Hour Meet-up in Emporia
